America Will Not Allow Its Overthrow By Reds

Received Friday, 11.30 a.m. UONDpN, Sept. 22. The United States Secretary pf State; Mr. Dean Acheson, has told the British Fpreign Secretary, Mr. Ernest Bevin, that America will not permit the Franco regime to he overthrown by the Communists or the Spanish Left Wing Extremists, says the Daily Mail. Mr. Acheson has explainea that full reeognition of Geheral Franco is still repugnant .to the United ""States, but that it is essential to take every possible meqns to avoid Communist expansion. , Mr. Acheson and Mr. Bevin also agree that India is the most logical bastion for building up against Commupism ixi the Far East. They agree that India should be given every possible financial and economic assistance to ensure her stability. '
