AUCKLAND, Sept. 20, There are strong rumours in Auckland that the butter ration will be raisI ed from fioz. to 8oz. a week when the new eoupons are issued next month. Present eoupons will be used until October 23. I A reporter today elicited from thu I Aueklartd rationing office that no inj structions had yet been received as to how the publie should obtain the new ration sheet which already had been printed. The new sheet has four eoupons for each rationing period and unofficiai speculation is that the fourth coupon, which is now invalid, will be made valid. Latest figures sliow New Zealand 's consumption of rationed butter is down by 25 per cent on tlio 1939 figure.
