Received Mondav 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 19. A warning that trade unions must not trv to take over the functions of a political party, was given by Mr S. C. Hills, northern area secretary j)£ -the Transport and General Workers' Union, in a speech at Bristol. He said trade unions represented the workers onlv in their productive capacitv and could uot tiake the place of a politics] Darty.
