WELLINGTON, Sept. 19. As a consequence of the devaluation of the pound sterling in terms of the United States dollar, the Reserve Bank announces that as from and including today its price for the purchase of gold delivered in a clean and melted form will be £12 4s 6d per fine ounce. Gold requiriner cleaning and melting will be subject to the present oneouarter per cent. charge to cover the cost of cleaning and melting. The pricto at which manufacturers and dentists will be able to obtain their speciaiised . needs in the form of granulated fine gold or alloys will be at a maximum of £12 17s 6d per fine ounce.
