VAN HITS TWO MEN, KILLING ONE

AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. A Post and Telegraph van which became out of control in Mt. Edenr istruck two men working 6n the road, one of whom died three hours later in the Middlemore Hospital. He was: ARTHUR BAIvER, niarried, aged 58, of Mt. Eden. The other workman, Edgar d'Andrea, was admitted to hospital suffering from concussion, fractuVed ribs and fractured left arm. His condition is serious. The driver of the van was Mr. T. N. Lawrence.
