Bumper Wheat Harvest In New South Wales

SYDNEY, Sept. 14. A new record of three successive harvests is indieated by the state of the wheat erops in New South Wales after the recent saving rains. A considerable rainfall at the end of August and early this month has assured that the present crop will be a gocd one. The previous two harveets were of a record size. The only danger now is that too much rain will fall in the north-west. This year New South Wales has nearly 5,000,000 acres in wheat crops, which are expeeted to yield about 70,000,000 bushels. The average planting for the State is 4,500,000 aeres, yielding under 60,000,000 bushels. The rain has assured rich pastures, , partieularly in the usually arid west where 3ome areas received up to 15 inches of rain earlier in the year.
