HAMILTON, Sept. 15. A new mode of Post Office transport will be pioneered'in Hamilton this week when the senior telegram delivery boy will diseard his bicvcle in favour of a motor scooter. The scooter was made in New Zealand and the Hamilton Post Office was first to test the machine for a trial period-of a month. Delivery in the city covers a wide area due to the fact that the builtup areas are up to three mhes distant from the Chief Post Office. The machine weighs 1281b. and will do 140 miles to the gallon at a speed of 35 miles an hour. It is classed as a motor-vehicle and the delivery boy has a licence.
