DEVALUATION BELIEVED INEVITABLE

Received Thursday, 11 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 15. In a cabled despatch published today, the Sydney Morning Herald's London correspondent says that a devaluation of the pound sterling will be announced on Sunday, September 18. The despatch adds : "One British expert, a souree known for his reliable and sober judgment, told the Herald, T think the devaluation is now ipevitable.' "One observer thinks that devaluation was made a condition of the three-nation dollar agreement announced on Monday." __
