Received Thursday, 11. 5G a.m. LONDON, Sept. 14, Rumours that the pound sterling would be devalued at the weekend went round the city today, says the Daily Express city editor. They said that devaluation would be announced on Saturday or Sunday, when all world markets would be closed. Gold shares and stocks of companies doing dollar business rose.
