Sent To Gaol For Assault On Jewish Boys
c Received Wednesday, 11 a.m. LQNDON, Sept. 15. A former member of Sir Oswald Mosley's British Union Movement was sent to prison today for a year for what the court recorder described as a "little Jew baiting." Twenty-one-year old Francis William Shaw was accused of assaulting two Jewish boys aged 15 and 16. The recorder, Sir Gerald Dobson, said: "I am tol'd that you were the strong arm man at outdoor meetings. You and others chose to indulge in a little Jew baiting.Tliat is out of date and out of favour in this country." ,i,
