Referee Carried Off Field Unconscious

GEEYMOUTH, Sept. 11. The unusual spectacle of a referee being canied off unconscious oceurred at Cobden Domain yesterday. A player emerging from the side of the scrum swung round sharply and collided with the referee, Mr. Keviu Bullimore. Players failed to revive the man with the whistle and he was taken to Grey Hospital in a taxi. After treatment at the outpatients' department, he recovered. There was another referee availabie, but as there was less than a quarter of an hour's play left, ground conditions were bad, and Cobden were leading 9 — 0, Kohinoor adopted a sporting action anfil agreed, that Cobden should be credited with the Vrin.
