Miss New Zealand's Engagements

LONDON, Sept. 9. Miss Mary Woodward ( Miss New Zealand), who has been attending the Edinburgh Festival and carrving out a number of engagements in Scotland, returns to London this weekeiul m time to be presented to the audienee at the Eoyal Air Force Associatiou festival in the Albert Hall on Sundav. The festival will be attended by Lord and Lady Trenchard, Lord and Lady Tedder, Air Chief Marshal Sir Victor Goddard and Lady Ooddard, the air attaches of a number of foreign Embassies, and representatives of the Diplomatic Corps. Next week Miss Woodward will attend a number of celebrations in connection with Battle of Br$ain Week, including a tattoo and a fireworks display at Orpington, a searclilight tattoo at Walthamstow, and a reception at Wembley. She is then due to leave on a four-dav visit to Paris.
