Blood Donors Needed
The Palmerston North Hospital is again appealing for blood donors in Levin. On this occasion at least 60 are required and it is hoped that this number and more, if available, will assist this most worthy cause. Blood saves lives and does no harm to those who give — in fact, medical authorities assert it does them good. The district nurse's rooms will be open to receive donors on Thursday from 6.30 p.m. onwards. Anyone wishing to become a donor is requested to contact either the town clerk, Mr. H. L. Jenkins, or health inspector, Mr. W. J. Guinan.
