Personal. Mr. Pat Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Phillips, of Otaki Beach, lpaves today for Rotorua- where he has accepted a position. Bills, late of Otaki and now of Wanganui, » was successful in securing the award for seedlings at the Wanganui show on Thursday last. , Taxi And Truck Collide A •passenger in a taxi returning to Wellington, Mr. Frank Dwyer, received facial injuries when the taxi and a truck came into collision on a bend one mile south of Manakau on Saturday night. The side of the "car suffered severe damage from the steel tray of the truck.
