Power Board Indignant Over Department's Action
WHANGAREI, Bept. 8. The Bay of Islands-- Power Board was informe'd vesterday that its request for permission to develop small power schemes in the far north had not been approved by the Hydro-Electric Penartment, but they and other simiPr small projects would receive attention by the department in due course. .The board expressed indignation that at least the Taheke Fafis project, the capacity of which had been measured and found sufficient to meet the board's requirements had not been approved.
