The Hnited Press Tokio correspondent «avs nine tons of explosives stored in snlmrban warehonses, blew np today in the biggest explosion heard in .Tapan since the end of the war. The blast was so violent that it rocked buildings in Tolsio 15 miles awav. Two concrete powder storage blockhouses, 30 bv 75 feet, were destroyed, four others wrecked and two others daniaged. The caretaker of the storehouses attributed the explosion to spontaneous eombustion. Ten person s were injured by flying glass as the impact shattered windows and daniaged honses in the surroundinp area. Miraculously nobodv was killed.
