Ladies' Bowling Club Elects Officers
The aoinual meeting of the Otaki Railway Ladies' Bowling Club was held in the .clubhouse on Wednesday last, when there was a satisfactory attendance. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: — President: Mrs. J. Barnett; vicepresident: Mrs. A. Whitelaw; secretary: Mrs. R. Rosomari; assistant secretary: Mrs. K Lowe.; committee: Mesdames Barnett, White.aw, J. Rogers, A. Manttan, Rosoman and Lowe. The thanks of the club ' to the retiring president and secretary, Mesdames Manttan and Rogers respectively, was placed on record,. and a presentation on behalf of the cluh was made to Mrs. Rogers in appreciation of her services.
