Rehabiliation Loans.
Rehabilitation loans worth £65,582,161 had been authorised fpr 81,581 ex-servicemen and women by the end of July. Ih* July itself 1,232 loans were authprised v£lued at £1,149,735. Loans have been fpr farips, businesses, house?, fufhiture, tools of trade and other miscellaneous piirposes. Loans to purchase farms were increased to 6,019, which involved finance worth £25,207,9.02. This includes 816 exservicemen settled ofi Crown lands. There were 105 farm loans authorised during the month.
