Pillion Rider Dies of Injuries
TIMARU, Sept. *2. • A collision at an intersection last night between a inotor car and a motor cycle with a pillion rider resulted in tne death of the pillion rider who was aumitted to the Timaru Hospital sufi'ering' from severe concussion and a possible fracture of the skull early this.morning. He was: — I MR. IVAN RAYMOND PIERCE, aged 21, single, of Timaru. | The driver of the motor .cycle, Mr. Albert Russell Perry Wedereli, aged 28, I married, of Timaru, was treated at the , hospital for minor injuries. The driver ! of the car, Mr. Douglas Moore, of ' Timaru, and his passenger were uninjured.
