Received Friday 9.50 p.m. SYDNE Y, Sept. 2. In a pamphlet on social iustice to be read in all Koman Catholic churclies on Stuiday the Catholic Hierarchy claims that Australian youth has sacrificed its initiative and spirit of adventure for security, leading to an alarming dependence in the State. It adds that other evils which a satisfactory educational system would have remedied include: Firstly: Class hatred " as bitter today in Australia as in the past." Secondly: General apathy on national problems and widespread reiusai to take part in public life. Thirdly: Loss of pride in workmanship accompanied by a decline in productivitiy. Fourthly: Widespread cynicism oased on the popular conviction that ulm^rt every r.ctivity is a "racket." Fifthly: L-ack of interest in the arts except in music.
