Saturday's Road Race
Owing to several riders competing in the Palmerston North-Bulls road on Saturday last, a small field took its piace for the weekend training ride at Otaki. Starters oyer the twelve mile course were: — ^D. Smith, scr.; C. Wilton, scr.; P. Roach and S. Snowdon, 2 mins.; D. Dakin and W. Walsh, 4 mins. Dakin was home first in 35 mins. 23 secs., with Roach a close second, an'd W. Walsh third. Fastest time was returned by D. Smith, who took 32 mins. 45 secs.
