Labour Announces More Candidates
WELLINGTON, August 30. Six more official Labour candidates for the Gen§ral Eleetion, were announced today by 'the national secretary of the New Zealand Labour Party, Mr. A. J. McDonald. Thev include the •Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, and candidates for three seats at present held by the National Party. The candidates are : . Gisborne, Mr. R. A. Iveeling. Patea, Mr.^F. W. Finer. Pahiatua, Lieutenant-Colonel G. • P. O 'Leary. Brooklyn, Mr. Fraser, Miramar, Mr. Semple. Island Bay, ,the Speaker of the House of Bepresentatives, Mr. Melveen.
