Australian And Bush Teams For Saturday
MASTERTON, Aug. 26. The Australian team to play Wairarap.a-B.ush in the rugby match at Solway tomorrow* was announced today by Mr. R. J. Walden, manager, as follows: — J. Solbmo.ri, R. Garner, C. Davis, A. Ware, T. Allan (captain), N. Emery, R. Causey, K. Cross, R. Mossqp, P- Brockhoff. K Gordon, F. McOarthy, N. Betts, N. Cotterill, B. Wiison. The Wairarapa-Bush combined team will be: — A. Mahupuka, A. Pinfold, F. O'Brien, C. Humphreys, R. O.o.uch (captain), B. Desmond, J. Hourigan, P. Small, -A. Blake, H. Mathieson, R. Laing, W. rhomas, W. Ryan, K. Matthews, N- Humphries. A tribute " was paid this morning by Mr. Walden to Fred Allen and his team in South Africa. He said they were greatly admired by the Australian team which" appreciated the difficulties of a touring side.
