Plunket Mothers' Club
, The forthightly meetings of the Plunket Mothers' Club have been regularly held during the year, attendances being good throughout, with membership gradually increasing. In reviewing the meetings to date, .each has been marked by some feature of interest. Talks have been given by Mrs. H. B. Burdekin on her Australian holiday, Mrs. C. S. Keedwell on her tfip to Ehgland, France and Belgiurh, and Mrs. R. G. Romans on [China, in the latterdays of mbnarchy. A talk on smocking and an exhibit of fine needlework, was given by Mrs. J. N. D. Mepoiiald, follojving which the members held a small exhibition of needlework, old and new, some beautiful pieces being shown. A picture evening, a financially SUccessful bring and buy, a quiz evening, conducted by Mrs. J. Miller, and a social evening, the entertainer being Miss Marie Pescini, are further activities, so far carried out, in the yearly programmb.
