— ♦ . ' The Levin sale yesterday -saw a heavy yarding in all sections to a keen berich of buyers. . Pigs, in slightly greater supply, were easier thari last week, store pigs still meeting with a ready sale. Fat wethers remained steady at last week's prices. Fat cattle showed a rise for female beef, ox beef and vealers remaining on a -par with previous saies. Dairy cattle were again easier. Quotations were: — Fat sheep: Prime ewes, 43s ld to 4§si il0d; prlme , jwethprs,,. ,62s 7;4 ;tp 63s ld* medium wethers, 58s 10s to 59s lOd; maiden ewes, 47s lOd to 49s lOd; prime hoggets, 45s ld to 46s; medium hoggets, 40s ld to 42s ld; lighter sorts, down to 38s 4d. Pigs: Prime porkers, £5 to £6; medium, £4 4s to £4 16s; lighter, down to £3 4s; prime bacOners, £6 7s to £6 14S. Store pigs: Weaners, 30s to 35s; slips, £2 to £2 5s; stores, £3 to £3 7s; -forward stores, £3 14s to £4 4s.
