Marching Teams' Activities
( Members of the Bandoliers' • Marching Team and their com- j mittee had a full weekend. A ' dance organised by them and held j at Manakau proved very success- j ful and a large crowd attended. Arrangements were first class, and an enjoyab'e time was spent. The following day members of the Petone Rebels' team visited Otaki and met the local girls in a basketball match. Fittirigly, the visitors emerged suecessful, but not before a keen tussle had ensued. As most of the local girls had not p'ayed since leaving school, their effort in giying the visitors a close game was commendable. The score was 8 — 6, and a return visit has been mooted- i
