SOUTHLAND AUCKLAND, August 21. After having the better of the first half, Southland's touring Rugby team was defeated by Auckland 21 — 16 at Eden Park yeslerday. It was Auckland 's sixtli consecutive victory of the season. Auckland 's points came from tries by McLean, Taj'lor, Smith, Andrew and Sweet, SorensOn (fullback) converting three. For South; .land McCaAv, .-Eade and Ineer scored tries, Webster "converting two and kicking a penalty goal.
