WELLINGTON, August 17. In the House of Representatives today, Mr. W. A. Sheat (Patea) gave notice to ask the Prime Minister if he the reasons for the inereasing incidence of resignations from the police force could give any information concerning and whetlier any steps were proposed for arresting the exodus from the force of experieneeed men, by removing tliose causes of dissatisfaction which had produced the present situation. Mr. Sheat said it had been reported that over 300 men, mostly of eonsiderable experienee, had left the force during the past three yeafs and that the drain was a. continuing one.
