Below is given the calendar of games still to be played before' the present rugby season ends: — August 20: Horowhenua juniors v. Bush juniors for Gillespie €up, at Pahiatua; Horowhenua fourths v. Wellington fifths, at Levin; final of senior championship with first round of Nash Cup knock-out competition in conjunction; final games in third grade competition. August 27: Seniors play second round of Nash Cup competition; juniors play club games; fina, matches in fourth grade championship. August 31: Manawatu-Horo whenua v. Australia, at Palmerston North. September 1: Horowhenua. v. All Blacks, at Levin. September 3 : Horowhenua senior B v. Wairarapa B, at Carterton; final Nash Cup dompeution; Horowhenua thirds v. Wellington fourths, at Wellington, as curtainraiser to New Zealand-Australia test. September 10: Horowhenua senior A v. Bush A, at Foxton; juniors p ay club games; Horowhenua fourths v. Wellington fifths, at Wellington. September 17: Horowhenua senior A v. Wellington Province Railvvay team, at Levin; Horowhenua senior B v. Wellington senior C, at Paraparaumu; Horowhenua juniors v. Wellington thirds, at Wellington. September 24: Horowhenua senv ior A v. Wellington, at Levin; juniors play final club games.
