Received Tuesdav 10 p.m. LONDON, August 16. A 41 year old radio engineer, Mr .Tohn Gilbert, experimenting in a gard I en worlcshop near London, perfected a ' deviee whieh enables an extra screen to be plugged in to any television set, giving fully portable extension. Both i television sereens can be on at the same itime without causing anv loss in brightness or claritv of the pictures. Tests showed that reeeption by the extension screen can also be muoh bigger than the parent screen. When the new deviee is mass produced, the combined price of a 9 inch screen set plus a 15 j inch extension screen, should be less | than the present price of a 15 inch screen, set alone.
