AUUKLAiNL, AUgUSE XO. Mr. Joseph Edwaxd Henrys, a former prominent racirig kandicapper, has died in Renxnera aged 84. When he retired in 1937 after 50 years' service to the sport, Mr. Henrys had a reeord of having act#.. as handicapper for 87 elubs in , the' icountr y , 48. in the North Island and 39" in the South Island. He was a life inember of 20 clubs throughcut the couhtry. Born in Dunedin, Mr. Henrys was edueated at Tuarakina and represented Manawatu at Kugby in 1887. He is survived by his wife, oue sha. and two daughters.
