Gisborne Short Of Coal
GISBORNE, August 16. With coal stocks in Gisborne so low that the oft'-peak consumption of gas is restricted, the freighter Ivlargaret W. is to make a special tnp to Greymouth to load 550 tons. of gas-making coal. The arrival oL this cargo about the middle of next : week, together with the consign- j ment of the collier Kartigi, will re- ' store stocks. The Margaret W.'s regular schedule between Gisborne and Auckland has been dislocated by the waterfront dispute in Auckland and consequently is available for the trip at a vital time.
