Bhe later was a guest at the Eoyal Air Force Club in Bristol whore sho oponed a new skittle allev. Miss Woodward wore a pastel blue. two-piece eostnme, with flowered hat and short eherrv voil. Asked what she thought of the clothes worn by English women, she said: "The younger ones are doing their best, but the older women don't seem to bother. "
