The Prime Minister, after mentioning the Budget date, said the Military Training Bill was nnder diseussion, but he was not- quite sure whether it. could be introduced before the Budget. There were various other items of legislation, but, of course, he added, the rno'st im portant thing was the General Election. "I am afraid," said the Prime Minister, ' ' I cannot f orecast delinitely oi: accurately the result, but we will all kiiow it by Ohrisitmas. ' ' He pronnsed to look irito the programme for the remainder of the session, and make a stateinent to the House.
