MASTERTON, August 10. Canterbury beat Wairarapa by 24 poipts to 12 in a fast and entertaining senior Rugby matcli at Masterton, this afternoon, in a light southerly breeze and on a surprisingly good ground after t-wo days of rain. The visitors owed much of their success to fine teamwork by the backs and a grand set of forwards. K. C. Stuart (fullbacki and Z. Dalzell (a side row forward) were outstanding in the Canterbury team and B. Couch, Wairarapa 's captain»showed individual brilliance at first five-eighths. It was a high scoring, bright game infused with fast movenients which made for quiek changes in the run of plav. Canterbury had a two to one advantage in the scrums and lineouts.
