SLIP BLOCKS RAILWAY
GISBORNE, Aug. 9. The Gisborne -Napier railway was b'ocked this morning by a slip on the line at Tutira and passengers by the southbound express had' to ibe transferred to buses. The slip • on the line near the ! Paritu Loop, at the Gisborne end, .was cleared late yesterday and though rubble v;as still falling today the line was kept clear by bulldozer.
