Guides Pian For Parents' Evening

^ A decision to hold the annual meeting and parents' evening in St. Mary's Hall on September 15 was made at a recent meeting of the executive of the Levin Girl Guides'Local Association. The district commissioner, Mrs. Kirkcaldie, reported that she had secured the guide film, "Follpw Ivly Leader," for that night. Tiie divisional commission; Mrs. Haylock, would also be coming from Palmerston .Borth to speak ori guiding in general. The district captain, Mrs. Chainey, intimated that the guides would also. be cpntributing to the programme. When the arrangements had been fina'ised, the president of the association, Mrs. Hunter, said that as the executive was desirous of creating a greater interest in guiding in Levin, she hpped that pot only parents but al'so local prganisations arid the puhlic would be represenfed at the evening.
