AUCKLAND, August 4. The Government chartered Libertj ship Barn Hill, is now the port's oldest "overseas maritime inhabitant. " She has been here 53 days but will not have eompleted diseharge of 9500 tons of Australian eargo for about another fortnight. By then she will hold the reeord for length of stay by a ship not directly affeMed by strikes or accideuts. The Mooncrest, now on its wav to Hui] via Odessa, is 'believed to haveheld the previous record — 55 days fronf arrival to departure. The Barn Hill is not expected to clear port for at leas-t another three weeks and possibh longer. She still ha? to load general cargo for Australia.
