Case For Increase In Price Of Bread
AUCKLAND, August 3. The Master Bakers' Association, to seek an increase in the price of bread, had now reaehed the stage where it j was hoped to have a case filed with the j Price Tribunal in Wellington in a matter ot days, said the Dominion seeretary of the association, Mr. G. Br Buri rovves, of Christchurch. Mr. Burrowes I is visiting Auckland to colleet data for the case and expects to remain here until next week. "I am making urgent investigations into bread costs while I am in Auckland," he said. The trade is, very restless and something will have to be done. It is hoped we shall be able tc get a ease liled in a matter of days."
