INDOOR BOWLING NOTES
Association Stages Another Successful Tourney Another successfpi district tpurnament wa§ held under the auspices of the Horqwhenua Indoor Bowfing Association in the Ohau Hal^ on Saturday night. Eighty-eight piayers took part and. the hall pre^ sented a, gay spectaqle with competitors round a hall full of mats and bowls. The honours were shared between a rink skipped by G. MuUifis (Raumati) and a Levin team comprising A. H. Mudgway, Mrs. Lester, H. Bdulton and K. A. Bowater (s) , each sscuring flve wins. . The wins secured by each rink were as follows, on'y the names of skips being mentioned with club representation indicated thus, F., Foxton; K., Koputaroa; I., Ihakara; L., Levin; O,, Ohau; and R., Raumati: — G. Mullins (R) and K. A. Bowater, five each; Horgan (K), Sherwood (L) and Findlay (R) , four wins each; J. D. Renkin (L), A. F. Mudgway (L) , Robertson (K) and S. Bowling, 3ri each; J. G. Horn. Snr. (O), W. Bul1 (L) , H. Nobie (I) and Mrs. Renkin (L) three each; E. Pilgrim (O) and Peterson (O), 24 each; Saint (O), Rotherham (F) , H. Wehipeihana (O), J. Horn, Jnr. (O) and W. O'Leary (F) , ,wo each; Flutey (1) and Mrs. Roberts dn (R) , one each.
