On The Links At Otaki
Saturday last saw the second round for the Len Shepherd Memorial Cup played by the Otaki Golf Club, results being; P. Willis beat D. G. Sutherland, W. D'Ath beat A. Wilson, L. G. Gimblett beat W. Rzoska, A. Harper beat R. H. Knight. The draw for the semi-finals to be played later this month is: P. Willis v. W. D'Ath, L. G. Gimblett v. A. Harper. The remaining match in the second round for the Dovey D'Ath was played on Sunday and resulted in J. Winterburn defeating E. Gray. Winterburn -is now lo play H. L. Browne in one semi-final, the other Deing be.tween A. Harper ' and D. G. Sutherland. The Awatapu club from Palmerston North visited Otaki on Sunday for a match with the Otaki club, Otaki winning by 18 games to 10, with five halved. •Results, with Otaki players mentioned first were: — Singles: J.
