M. "Thomson, when interviewed this morning. "The R.S.A. is naturally gratifled and relieved at this decisive result, and I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all the many citizens of the town and district, and especially the various women's organisations, who worked so hard to ensure, that everyone had an opportunity of voting and of knowing our point of view in thifc vital and all important issue. - 1 am proud of Levin majority— 85 per cent— a figure well above the average for the rest of New Zealand."
