Mr. Ronv Jepson, formerly of Otaki and now of Lower Hutt, after ten days in hpspital, is convalescing at the home of his parents, Mr. a'nd Mrs, H. Jepson, Otaki Railway. Mr. W. A.jCalwefi, after' 13 years in Otaki, leaves on Saturday for Christchurch, , where he will make his future home, Mrs. Calwell has been in the south for some weeks past. l Mr. J. Retter advises that the'report which was furnished credit|ing him with recommending that jthe Mayoral honorarium in Otaki j should be increased from £52 to T250 or £300 is not substantially J correct. He was, however, of the opinion thaUan hororarium of £150 should be pa|d. •
