GREYMOUTH, July 25. ' A hostile reception was aceorded anti-conseription spealcers at a meeting attended by about 50 persons at llumara last evening. The speakers, lMr. ' J. Reedy, Kumara president of the j Westland Timber Workers' (Jnion, and. Mr. H. R. Miteheil, Greymouth, a member of the West Coast Anti-consexiption League and also of the Communist Party, were booed and counted out at many stages of the evening while tihe singing of patriotic songs frequentiy drowned the spealcers' voices.
