Personal. - ' The friends of Mrs. S. W. Barber, of Moutoa, will be pleased to learn that she is now progressing favourably following her recent operation in the Palmerston North Hospital. First Steps, Bruce Stern 98, Mienael Harkness 91, Miss Steverison's pupil, Coral Little, was awarded 99 marks out of a possible 100 in her preparatory examination. All pupils passed with honours.
