Tn view of the cabled advice that the Ncw Zealand Minister of Finance now m London, was seeking an inmxediate increase in New Zealand imports from ' Britain, tlie United Kingdom Manufacturers' and New Zealand Representatives' Association has sent tlie' following cable to Mr Nash: — "This association appreciates vour iielpful assistance to increase New Zealand 's imports from the United Kingdom and hopefully antjcipates an early implementation on tliis side for adequate iniport licences to accommodate a greatei9 variety of eonsumer goods available and desirable for still further improving tlie Domin.ion's stan dard of liviag.
