J Personal/ Messrs G. R. .Barnes and R. Hook were eleoted to the directorate oi the Shannon Dairy Company at the annual general meeting yester•day. More State Houses. The question of approaching the 'Housing Department with a view to having more State House units erected in Shannon was discussed at Tuesday evening's meeting of the Shannon Borough. Council. It was resolved that Cr. V. J. Bateman, chairman of the building committee, confer with the department and point out the urgent need for more houses in Shannon.
