The Levin Borough' Council decided last night to give all the assistance it could to the Horowhenua Rugby Union in regard to the forthcoming trial g^me with the New Zealand team prior to its first test 'with Australia in September. . ... The Mayor, Mr. H. B, Burdekin, said that he was yery keen to see that everything possible was done to ensure that the s.tandard of- the arrangements was as perfect as it could be made. He thought that in order to save .time a committee should be set up to work -in with- the union, and that it be granted power to act. It was decided that the Mayor and Deputy-Mayor be the Committee.
