KNOCKED OFF BICYCLE AND KILLED

AUCKLAND, July 17. A man was fatally injured when he was struek by a motor ear while cycling with his family in Mangere East this afternoon. He was: EDWIN RALPH DEARLOVE, aged 30, carpenter, of Mangere. Mr Dearlove and his wife and their two young children were riding along the road toward Onehunga when'a motor car struek Mr Dearlove 's bicycle. An ambulance was ealled but the injured man died before it arrived. A ehild earried on his cyele escaped with minor injuries.
