Young Motor-cyclist Dies From Injuries '

HAROLD JOHN NUTT, a. 19-yeaf-old farmhand, of Fairfield Settle'niexit1, Kopane, received injuries from 1 iyliieh i he later died, when the motor,rcyele"'he was riding on Taipo Line, Rongotea.,.' on Thursday night, collided with a heifer. , A .pillion rider, John * Riehard , FlaveJi, farmhand, of Putaruru, aged 20, received minor injuries. ^ . ' i Nutt and Flavall, the latter being on a friendly visit, were proceeding to the Rongotea pictures at 7.30 p.m. and when in a dip in the road struek the beast. Flavall was knocked uneonseious but later went for help. The motorcycle was slightly damaged. The heifer was severely injured and died soon after the collision. Nutt. was removed to the Palmerston North Hospi'tal but died at 8.15 p.m. on Saturday night. An inquest was held before the Coroner, Mr C. L. Mowiem, yesterday and after evidenee of identification had been given, was adjourned sine die. A post mortem was'ordered.
